Pumpkin Spice Latte Recipe

Indulge in the cozy flavors of autumn with our homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte recipe. Topped with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon, this comforting beverage is perfect for crisp fall mornings or a cozy afternoon treat.

Ingredients

2 cups of milk (dairy or non-dairy, such as almond or oat milk)

2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree

1 to 2 tablespoons of sugar (adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon of vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice (or a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves)

1/2 cup of strong brewed coffee or 1-2 shots of espresso

To Garnish

Whipped cream

A pinch of additional pumpkin pie spice for garnish

Step 1:

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the milk, pumpkin puree, and sugar. Heat the mixture until it's hot but not boiling, stirring frequently.

Step 2:

Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in the vanilla extract and pumpkin pie spice.

Step 3:

Use a whisk or a milk frother to mix the milk until it's frothy.

Step 4:

Pour the brewed coffee or espresso into a large mug. Add the pumpkin-spiced milk mixture, stirring gently to combine.

Step 5:

Top with whipped cream, if desired. Sprinkle a little pumpkin pie spice on top for garnish.
