What Type of Garden Water Feature should I buy?
Consider your garden's style: contemporary spaces love clean-lined fountains, whilst traditional gardens embrace decorative cascades. Think about maintenance too—simpler designs mean more time enjoying your space. Choose something that makes you smile every time you step outside. Your garden deserves a feature that reflects your personality!
Cascading waterfalls offer sleek elegance and work beautifully as centrepieces.
Modern fountains create stunning focal points and soothing sounds, perfect for relaxation corners.
Character water features add personality and charm—think ornate tiered designs or sculptural pieces.
What Size Garden Water Feature should I buy?
Choosing the perfect water feature size starts with understanding your garden's dimensions and character.
- Measure the total area using a tape measure - length × width
- Identify potential locations for your feature
- Mark out a test area using string or spray paint
- Consider viewing angles from windows and seating areas
- Check for utilities underground before finalising placement
Remember, your water feature should complement, not dominate, your garden's natural flow. A good rule of thumb: choose a feature that occupies no more than 10-15% of your visible garden space.

How do I set up my garden water feature?
- Place base on a flat surface, and insert reservoir onto base.
- Insert the water pump into water tube.
- Insert fountain top on reservoir and put pump into water. Water should be higher than the pump.
- Make sure the water tube is properly connected with the pump, and is not crimpled.
- The concave edge of the fountain top should adhere to the convex part of the reservoir. Be sure that the electric wire is passed through the wire opening.
- Connect the power cable to outlet. If installed properly, water flow in the fountain will begin shortly.
How do I care for my garden water feature?
- If, after time, the pump starts to lose power or stops working, you should check for the build-up of sediment or scale at the bottom of the pump housing, or in the reservoir.
- Remove the blockage or any dirt and scale which may have built up and close the case back up.
- Periodically change water and keep water clean. We recommend distilled water to prevent mineral build-up. This will improve the waterfall effect.
