We have set up an initiative for our colleagues to nominate local community causes to receive a donation. We believe that community causes are so important to local communities and the work they do provides help to the community.

Each term, every store nominates three community causes to receive a donation. Since launching in June 2024, we have donated to over 160 local community causes in Ireland. We are very thrilled to be able to give back to the communities we operate in and help local community causes continue to provide much needed services in their area.

We have helped a variety of community causes so far such as:

Registered Charities: who do a lot of great work in the community dealing with social issues such as homelessness, cancer support, women’s shelters, counselling services and children with autism + special needs services.

Clubs: who offer an outlet for members of the community to learn new skills, make new friends or provide an essential service to the community. We have supported a variety of clubs such as sub-aqua search & rescue, Scout Dens, men’s & women’s sheds, Dance teams, cheerleading, choir + orchestra clubs.

Educational Institutions: in the local community who are raising money for important projects such as sensory gardens, expanding resources, meals for students or improving facilities.

Projects with impact: that provide essential services who rely on donations to continue making an impact in the local community such as Tidy Towns, river safety awareness, after school clubs, animal rescue shelters or suicide watch + prevention.

We are excited to continue to help the communities in which we operate and strive to make an impact to local community causes.
