Breatheasy® Matt emulsion is always a popular choice for use throughout the home. The low sheen level of matt emulsion helps to hide lumps and bumps and disguise wall imperfections. It's low reflectance lends it well to rooms to relax in, or to create an intimate atmosphere. We recommend matt emulsion for dining rooms, bedrooms, studies and living rooms. All Crown Breatheasy® emulsions are certified Asthma and Allergy friendly.

If you’re painting new, dry plaster or porous surfaces, seal the surface by adding a coat of paint diluted with up to 40% of clean cold water. If surface to be painted has any ‘sheen’ thoroughly abrade to provide suitable adhesion. Stir your paint thoroughly before use and apply nice and evenly using a brush or roller (a medium pile roller is recommended for smooth surfaces). Don’t apply in really damp or humid conditions or in room temperatures below 10°C. Some colours may require additional coats to give complete coverage. Clean brushes with cold, clean water.

Our main aim is for you to be satisfied with your colour choice. Not all colours will display the same on different screens and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We recommend you order a tester pot available online or else pop in to one of our stores to pick one up so you can be certain of your colour choice.
