Buttermilk Turkey & Stuffing Goujons

Buttermilk Turkey & Stuffing Goujons with Cranberry Dipping Sauce


You will need:


  • 750g Turkey Breast
  • 200ml Buttermilk
  • 4 Eggs, beaten
  • 100g Plain Flour, seasoned with salt & pepper
  • 300g pre-made Sage & Onion Stuffing
  • 300g Plain Bread Crumbs
  • 1 Jar, Cranberry Sauce
  • 1 Orange, Juice & Zest
  • 2-3 tbsp Port (optional)


  1. Cut the turkey breast in goujon size strips
  2. Marinate in buttermilk for 8-12 hours
  3. Mix the pre-made stuffing and breadcrumbs together
  4. Skewer the turkey strips onto wooden skewers
  5. "Pane" each turkey strip by first dipping in the seasoned flour, shaking off any excess, then dip into the beaten egg, finally coating with the stuffing and breadcrumb mix
  6. Bake for 15-18 mins at 180˚c
  7. To make the dipping sauce, mix the cranberry sauce with the orange juice and zest as well as the port if using
  8. Plate the cooked turkey goujons and serve with cranberry dipping sauce
